Payments
- Secure checkout is handled by Stripe on Stripe’s hosted payment page, and you are returned to Long Play once payment is complete. Stripe’s privacy policy
How limits are calculated
- Only successfully ingested uploads count toward quota.
- Duration is calculated from the original uploaded file only.
- Transcodes and renditions never count toward quota.
- Duration is tracked to the second and rounded down to the nearest minute when displayed.
- Your total quota allows 10% above the stated limit before uploads are blocked - a 10-hour plan enforces at 11 hours, a 50-hour plan at 55 hours.
- File size is not tracked toward quota. Your library is measured in hours, not gigabytes.
- Re-uploads count as new uploads (delete to reclaim quota).
Downgrades & over‑quota
- If you downgrade and exceed Free limits, new uploads are paused immediately.
- Existing videos remain viewable while you fix usage.
Domain‑restricted viewing
- Creator plan and up.
- Restricts playback to explicitly listed domains.
- Subdomain wildcard matching supported, no IP restrictions.
- On downgrade, viewers see a neutral “This video is unavailable.” message.
Processing & reliability
- Priority affects queue order only; in‑progress encodes are never interrupted.
- Processing can take longer than other platforms.
- Quality and reliability take priority over speed.
