Collections and watch-in-order

Collections let you group your videos into series, seasons, programmes, or any other body of work. Public collections appear as sections on your creator profile and have their own page at /u/<username>/c/<slug>.

Creating a collection

Collections belong to a channel: you see and create the ones for the channel you're working in, a video can only be in collections from its own channel, and a second channel's collection page is at /u/<channel-address>/c/<slug>.

From Collections in your dashboard, give it a title and a short description (shown in profile section headers and listings). You can also pick a label (e.g. Series, Season) and set its visibility.

About this collection

The "About this collection" field is for longer editorial context - a director's statement or notes on the body of work. It's shown on the collection's own page, separate from the short description.

Adding and reordering videos

Add any of your videos to a collection from the same page. Use the up/down arrows next to each video to reorder them, and "Move up" / "Move down" on the collection itself to reorder your collections.

"This is a sequence (ordered)"

Turn this on if the collection has a meaningful watch order - a series with episodes, for example. When it's on, viewers watching a video in the collection see:

  • A "n of total · collection name" row above the title, linking back to the collection
  • Previous/Next links to move through the sequence
  • A "Next" card when a video finishes, linking straight to the next one

There's no autoplay - Long Play never starts the next video for you. The "Next" card is always a tap, on every video, by design.

If a collection isn't ordered, videos are still grouped together but none of this sequence UI appears.

Collection visibility vs video visibility

A collection's visibility controls whether its page and profile section are shown - it doesn't change the visibility of the videos inside it. A public collection only shows videos that are themselves public; any unlisted or private videos in the collection are skipped for other viewers (you'll still see everything as the owner). Setting a collection to unlisted or private doesn't make its videos more or less visible - it just controls who can find the collection page itself.
