Creating your account

Getting started on Long Play takes a couple of minutes. Here's what to expect.

Sign up by entering your email address, a username, and a password. After signing up, check your inbox for a verification link and click it to activate your account.

Signing up with Google

You can also choose "Continue with Google" on the login or signup page to create your account using your Google account. There's no verification email to click - Google has already confirmed your email address, so your account is ready immediately. Your account still works with a regular password too - use the "Forgot password" link on the login page at any time to set one.

Your username

Your username appears in your public creator URL (/u/your-username). Choose carefully - it can't be changed after signup.

Your password

Your password needs to be at least 8 characters and include at least one letter. We hash it before storing - we never have access to the actual password.

After verifying

Once verified, you can upload videos immediately. Head to your dashboard to get started, or spend a few minutes setting up your creator profile - it's the page your audience will see.
